A mid-week boating holiday

Duet cruiser 1300 Elevation
we 4 friends (2 couples) look back on a wonderful, fantastic boating holiday on the elevation.
A peek into Bolsward
Our first overnight stay was in Bolsward. A beautiful city. Because of Covid, all restaurants were closed, so we cooked in the boat. This went perfectly. Together in the galley, there was plenty of room.
Picturesque Sloten
We also spent the night at Sloten (one of the Frisian eleven cities). So beautiful there! What is also very nice is to spend the night on a Marrekrite place, these are several locations where you can moor for free. We moored at an island of the Tjeukermeer. There is no electricity or water, but the Elevation has enough of that! Even a good hot shower is available in the boat.
Soon we became familiar with the elevation.
During our cruise, we regularly stopped to visit nice places like IJlst and Lemmer. It was good that we received a good sailing map of Friesland-Boating . Our last overnight stay was in Woudsend.
It was nice and calm on the water and the weather cooperated well.

We have enjoyed every second of this boating holiday. The view from the water is so different, so much fun! The Elevation became familiar to us in a very short time. I would recommend it to everyone. For the four of us, this has not been our last boating holiday!
