Discover Woudsend and Heeg

Visit the Jager sawmill or take a look at the SKS skûtsje, the pride of Woudsend. After Woudsend the route leads to Heeg. You can easily moor here in the centre for an ice cream on one of the many terraces. Another tip: The best way to discover the centre of Heeg with your children is by canoe!
On the way to Sneek you'll come across one of the smallest Frisian 11 cities; IJlst. Take the children on a trip with the milkman or take a look at the local clockmaker. Further through the green land comes Sneek in sight.
Here, too, there is plenty to do with children. The Model Railway Museum and the Frisian Maritime Museum are highly recommended. In addition, the renovated day recreation area De Potten is an ideal place, with a real water playground for the little ones.
